Piyush Bhatnagar is at the aegis of his powers, as he explores and introduces the dubbed side of music, fused with Indian elements and Western percussions, he’s bringing his unique sound with Dubstep and Drum n Bass to India. Alongwith with bringing sounds here, he’s also exporting the earthy sounds of the country internationally as he bangs his best outside the borders. Piyush Bhatnagar aka "Sound Avtar" is one of the hottest Dub Artists to come out of the Asian scene in recent times. He was also one half of the prolific DEAF BASS TWINS,where he handled Production / Live Set / Tech-Support .The duo that are ripped the underground music scene apart. When most of us have no direction in life, Piyush was learning the art of DJing right from the 8th grade; he hasn’t looked back since as he picked up a residency at a Jaipur club in his 10th grade and began producing bootlegs of his mixes and sets. He joined the SAE later for his audio engineering in Mumbai. His sound is both influenced and supported by bigwigs such as Udyan Sagar (Ex-Bandish Projekt/ Nucleya ), Nasha Experience (U.K.), Shiva Sound System, Noisia,MIDIval PunditZ,Sub Focus,State of Mind,Nero who help him stitch together a pulsating sound which consists of Asian Electronica, Dubstep, Drum n Bass and Experimental.Creating a sound that is deeply rooted in Indian zests to contemporary EDM.
