Mark Sterling Bio Mark Sterling’s versatility in the music industry comes from nearly 30 years of marketing, promotions, sales and management experience. Starting out in independent music distribution, he went on to become Promotions Director for Word Music Canada where he helped restructure the company’s marketing approach and was an integral part in taking annual revenues from $1.5 million to $9 million in his six years with the label. After leaving Word, he became label manager of Johnny Jet Records (A&M Records distributed) where he also co-managed the label’s CRIA Gold selling pop/dance group West End Girls. In addition, he has done marketing and promotions work for music and corporate clients such as Crosby Still & Nash, Bonnie Raitt, Bruce Hornsby, Alice Cooper, ZZ Top, Sony Electronics, Sony Pictures, JVC, Dannon International Brands, Evian, North American Beverage Company, Fender and Gibson Guitars among others. In 2002, he formed Sterling Artist Management, Inc. and has devoted himself to managing artists whose talent, dedication and drive position them for success.
