Brent Harvey is owner/founder of The KBH Entertainment Talent Agency and the Hollywood Music In Media Awards For over 30 years, Brent Harvey has garnered a solid and respectable reputation in the entertainment business. In addition to producing concerts, showcases, managing events, fundraisers and award shows, he is a highly regarded entertainment booking agent and artist development consultant working with both artists and entertainment companies. Brent began his entertainment and management career with one of California's most successful (and infamous) chain of restaurant/nightclubs, the Red Onion. During his sixteen year tenure, his jobs included DJ, talent buyer, music programmer, entertainment manager, trainer, copy writer, instruction manual author, video producer and ultimately, Entertainment Director. KBH Entertainment was founded in 1994 as an entertainment consulting, production, talent booking, public relations and management business. Consulting and management clients include national charitable organizations, music artists, celebrities, entertainment venues, film & music festivals and various staged entertainment events. In 2008, Brent Harvey co-founded the Hollywood Music In Media Awards and serves as Executive Producer of the award's parent company, KBH Entertainment. By July 2012, over 400 indie artists had been placed in paid gigs as a result of the live music programs. Brent managed numerous special programs at the hotel including pre-Grammy red carpet events. Brent continues to create new and exciting entertainment productions, businesses and challenging management opportunities.
