Javi is a singer/songwriter/guitar player, originally from Rock (English/Spanish) band Taizen, who has released a new solo album called The Collective. Javi's music genre mainly involves Rock, Progressive, Classic and Alternative, and he also produces music and instrumentals in Experimental, Industrial and Latin rhythms. Originally born in Veracruz, Mexico, Javi has lived in the states for quite a long time, living in Southern California. Javi became a song writer since he was 6 years old and has written over 500 songs, 45 of them have been recorded in his solo album and with his band Taizen. His second Taizen album "Cocuyo" had sold in many countries and the music is available in all internet and digital download sites. The band's song "Zouk" has been listened to millions of times and was very popular when the band toured part of United States and Mexico. Javi has many influences from growing up in the 70s, including The Who, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, The Fixx, U2, then later Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots, Porcupine Tree and other international bands with great music such as: Eppu Normali (Finland), Soda Stereo (Argentina), Jaguares (Mexico) and many more. With The Collective, Javi used all profound influences from important people throughout his life giving the album good depth and various styles of Rock music, making each song very unique.
