Byron Malcolm founder of BNM ATTRACTIONS have promoted many concerts in Miami from 1977 to 1994 presenting the who is who of Reggae, PETER TOSH, BUNNY WAILER, SLY & ROBBIE AND THE TAXI GANG, BERES HAMMOND, STEEL PULSE, ASWAD, MAXI PRIEST, DENNIS BROWN, THE MIGHTY DIAMONDS, CULTURE, INNER CIRCLE, KEN BOOTHE, LLOYD PARKS & WE THE PEOPLE, 809 BAND, CHALIS, DAMIAN AND JULIAN MARLEY, BARRINGTON LEVY, JIMMY RILEY, THE WAILERS and the list goes On. As director of Sales and Marketing for Joe Gibbs Record back in the eighties Byron was responsible for Dennis Brown singing a recording deal with A & M records. As a booking agent he is responsible for taking the following artist to Reggae Sum Fest in Montego Bay Jamaica BOYS II MEN, KC & JO JO, BLUE CANTRELL, SNOOP DOGG, JAY-Z, and making South Florida Reggae Group ROOTS UPRISING one of the top Reggae Group in Florida in the late seventies through the eighties. As a promoter, Byron have presented numerous festivals in Miami at Bayfront Amphitheatre, Bicentennial Park down town Miami, and the very successful REGGAE SUPER JAM Music Festival at Peacock Park Coconut Grove Miami, C B Smith Park in Pembroke Pines and is also responsible for taking REGGAE SUNSPLASH tour, THE WAILERS, INNER CIRCLE, SHABBA RANKS, INI KAMOZE, AND SIZZLA to BRAZIL, LAUREN HILL AND KY-MANI MARLEY to Chile. Byron has also taken Brazilian Reggae Group Cidade Negra to Reggae Sumfest in Jamaica and Reggae on the River in California and has promoted Cidade Negra & Skank in Miami. BNM ARTIST ventures in to artist management with Reggae Group Inner Circle where he was their manager for 6 years from 1988 to 1994, and the group was very successful in the early 90. Under his watch the group garner two top ten hits, a platinum album and a Grammy here in the US and many gold and platinum records and Number I hit’s all over Europe and the world with Bad Boys and Girl I want to make you Sweat. Fast forward Byron Malcolm ventured into Hip Hop as the VP of Paper Chasers Entertainment Original home of Super producer Jim Jonsin, Byron was instrumental in getting an artist deal with Ruff Nation /Warner Brothers Records for the Miami Hip Hop Group Sons OF Sacrifice. Byron Malcolm has ventured back into the management business with a couple of establish artist, Fyah Blaze, RED RUM, Bonafide Group and KARELL. Byron Malcolm and BNM ATTRACTIONS also offers Music Consulting Radio Promotions and music marketing following are some of the artist that Byron have promoted, Pretty Rickie, J Shin South Beat Records, Mr. Charlie, DA POUNDERS, DIRT BAG Bonafide/Chronic Records.
