Personal profile

Chris is a lyricist from England. He wrote his first song lyrics, ‘Goodbye Jane’ when he was fourteen. It was picked up by a Scottish folk band and was played on the radio regularly. Chris concentrated on writing poetry from then on and has had many poems published in England. He then decided to convert some of his favourite poems into song lyrics. ‘Soon it will be morning’ was the first of these and he employed a local composer to create music for the lyrics. He also wrote ‘Wear The Right Smile’, a country track and had music and vocals recorded in Canada. Another lyric, 'If I had to choose' was recorded at the famous Greystoke Studios in London. Chris explains the direction he is headed in the music industry: “I am fortunate that I can write lyrics on any subject. I have a whole back catalogue of lyrics that I am looking for singers/composers to add their musical magic to.
