“Lunapark” tells a poignant story of love and loss set in the shadow of war. A young soldier meets the love of his life at a fairground, and their brief encounter becomes his light in the darkness of the battlefield. Haunted by her memory, he abandons the war in a desperate attempt to return to her, but is fatally struck down before they can reunite. FOOL – a song I wrote against ignorance and stupidity that we find in highest offices these days. While the world keeps growing more and more insecure and unjust some heads of government seem to have nothing better to do than pour oil into the growing global fires. Change can only happen if the protest finds a common language like currently in Hamburg, where protesters from all over the world demand fairness instead of politics made without those who will have to bear the consequences.
