I have been working as a freelance professional in the music industry since 1993 and have worked for the recording studio/label R & A Records (LC 07974)/Mürschter Musikhaus GmbH and on my own in music productions and gained experience. After my main activity over the past 20 years was playing live music with various bands, I expanded my recording studio due to the Corona Pandemic (32 tracks simultaneously, RME, Midas, DDA and Roland preamps, SPL outboard mastering) and decided to go in to switch to music production. In January 2021 I started studying "DIPLOMA" at the "HOFA-College" to further deepen my knowledge and bring it up to date. Since then I have successfully completed the state-approved audio assistant (BASIC), audio engineer (PRO), mastering and music business correspondence courses. As a music producer, I have since worked with nine professional musicians/artists and carried out the EP production "Michael Hilbel's GLOBALPLAYER - Stones" (Worldmusic) with them over four months to create a reference for my skills. It was published by the usual streaming and download providers via MusicHUB. I've built up a network of great musicians with extraordinary instruments and I'm very interested in connecting different genres. My special quality is my emotional perception and a clear vision of authentic sound to guide artists musically and technically through a production. The recording studio is located in a wooden house with a large garden, kitchen and sauna in the beautifully quiet Großbardorf, Rhön/Grabfeld (Germany) and is supplied with renewable energy. I am happy to take care of the accommodation of artists. Tiny house in nature, camping in the garden or campsite, mobile home in front of the door, pension or hotel with pool can be organized locally. As an "artistic producer" on behalf of the artist/label, I am responsible for the artistic, musical and technical coordination in the production of music recordings.
