Markus Kuczewski is principal keyboard player and conductor at the Hamburg "Stage Theatre Neue Flora" (currently running Disney's "Aladdin") and in the past in "The Phantom of the Opera", "Mamma Mia!" and "Tarzan". Born in 1978 he started his career after finishing a music-specialized high school in 1997. Since then he's done 25 musical productions as keyboard player, including "Rocky", "Dirty Dancing" (Stage Entertainment), partly as a bandleader/MD and arranger. As an instrumentalist, composer and producer - with his own electro-pop duo Muttersöhnchen he made it to Stefan Raab's famous german TV show "Bundesvision Song Contest". - with his dancefloor jazz band "Groove Galaxi" he did 4 albums and more than 200 live concerts, including a tour with the "MOJO Club" and various jazz-festivals - he has played in numerous jazz clubs in Germany for a long time with his Hammond organ jazz trio "The Organics" As an instrumentalist - with "Roger Cicero" Big Band - steady gig in legendary Hamburg Live Music Club "Angies Nightclub" - Various Gala Bands - Studio productions He's a specialist for programming live setups (keys/computer) and is also doing promotional gigs (such as at the Frankfurt Music Fair).
