WHO AND WHAT WE ARE: -My name is Texroy Elliott CEO and owner of registered trademark Mad Hits Records, also known as MHR -Mad Hits Records is a music business company. -A limited liability Company registered with the companies office of Jamaica. -Mad Hits Records is based in Kingston, Jamaica. WHAT WE PRESENTLY HAVE: -We're currently working with five recording artists. -We have extensive knowledge, experiences and contacts in event promotion and productions. -We have a small recording studio. -A business plan for 2018-2021 (Funded by; DBJ) -A strategic plan for 2018-20 (Also funded by; DBJ) VISION OF MAD HITS RECORDS: -My vision is to build Mad Hits Records into a successful multi-faceted music business concern. -To become the go-to option for recording, management and event productions and promotions in central and Western Jamaica. -To provide a platform for talented recording artists and musicians to launch a successful career in the music business. - To provide a positive example of how to conduct music business in Jamaica. STRATEGY OF MAD HITS RECORDS -Mad Hits Records strategy is a 360 approach consist of monetising all possible aspects of business; recording, publishing, management, booking, merchandise, recording studio, rehearsal space and live events. -We will identify and sign high value talents to exclusive agreements covering all aspects of their careers. -Mad Hits Records will exploit existing connections with international industry. -We will target underserved market for events outside of Kingston, Jamaica. WHAT WE NEED FIRST YEAR OF OPERATION: Mad Hits Records need $40,000.USD in year one to finance the following; -To upgrade recording studio. -To acquire office equipment. -To engage accounting and administrative services. -To retain attorney to develop standard contracts for artists. -To sign 3-4 artists and release and promote their recordings. -To develop marketing, branding and promotional material. WHAT WE NEED SECOND YEAR OF OPERATION: We need another $40,000.USD in year two to finance the following; -To expand recording studio to include rehearsal space. -To sign 3-4 additional artists. -To begin scouting for talents islandwide. -To continue releasing and promoting Mad Hits Records recordings. -To continue expanding and marketing activities. WHAT WE NEED THIRD YEAR OF OPERATION: We need $45,000.USD in year three to finance the following; -To sign 3-4 additional artists. -To continue talent scouting islandwide. -To continue releasing and promoting Mad Hits Records recordings. -To produce showcase events for Mad Hits Records artists performing for international music business executives. -To continue expanding and marketing activities. YEAR FOUR AND FIVE: -Will be company realising net profit. -At least six Mad Hits Records artists will have local and regional success. -At least three Mad Hits Records artists will have international success. -Mad Hits Records brand will be recognized as a strong player in the music industry. -We will accomplish strategic alignment with International music business companies. -Mad Hits Records will continue recording, releasing, talent scouting and marketing activities. WHAT'S DIFFERENT ABOUT US: -Mad Hits Records operate above board unlike most of our competition. -We're a registered company. -Tax compliant. -Registered trademark and copyright. -Me the CEO have international experiences in the music business. -We operate from Central and Western Jamaica where there's a large untapped market with mostly Kingston based competition.
