What does Music2Deal offer?

Music2Deal offre diversi strumenti che ti consentono di ampliare la tua rete di contatti e sviluppare il tuo business, promuovere la tua musica e pubblicare le tue esigenze e opportunità per gli altri membri dell’industria musicale.

Who can join Music2Deal?

Per entrare a far parte di Music2Deal è necessario essere coinvolti nell’industria musicale: dirigenti A&R di etichette discografiche indipendenti e major, editori musicali, agenti, produttori, manager, promotori, distributori e importatori/esportatori di ogni genere musicale, nonché acquirenti di musica provenienti da altri settori e industrie, tra cui pubblicità, aziende di video e videogiochi, produttori cinematografici e televisivi. Le tue referenze verranno verificate durante il processo di registrazione.

How do I change/update my profile?

Completa il tuo profilo e aggiungi una foto del profilo se non l’hai ancora fatto.
Poi crea la tua prima Offerta o Richiesta nella sezione Le tue Offerte e Richieste per diventare visibile e ricevere match e risposte dagli altri membri.
Aiuta anche a rimanere attivi e a costruire la tua rete entrando in contatto con contatti aziendali rilevanti.
Puoi trovarli tramite il Finder, scoprirli in Explore o collegarti tramite i risultati di matching.
Più la tua rete è rilevante, maggiori sono le tue possibilità di concludere veri affari.

How do I delete my profile?

Se desideri cancellare la tua iscrizione, ti basta inviarci una breve e-mail a info@music2deal.com.
Prima di farlo, potresti voler considerare quanto segue:

• Se non hai ancora avuto successo, controlla il tuo punteggio di successo del profilo e migliora il tuo profilo, le offerte e i bisogni
• Se hai un abbonamento Premium, puoi passare al piano Basic in qualsiasi momento senza perdere i tuoi contatti esistenti
• Se ricevi troppe e-mail, puoi modificare le opzioni di notifica nelle Impostazioni

How do I change my e-mail address?

Vai su "Modifica profilo" per aggiornare il tuo profilo e la tua foto.
In "Dati personali" puoi modificare il tuo indirizzo e-mail e i dati di contatto.
Per eliminare il tuo profilo, invia un’e-mail a [info@music2deal.com](mailto:info@music2deal.com).
Nelle tue Impostazioni puoi anche gestire opzioni importanti come:
– lingua e password
– l’URL pubblico del tuo profilo (ID pubblico)
– chi può contattarti
– impostazioni sulla privacy (ad es. profilo pubblico, visibilità sulla mappa)
– notifiche (ad es. corrispondenze, attività della rete, newsletter)

How do I upload my music?

Le Offerte e i Bisogni sono il cuore di Music2Deal.
Rendono il tuo profilo visibile, attivano le corrispondenze e notificano i contatti rilevanti.
Senza di essi, è molto difficile generare accordi.

Why can’t I create a new Offer?

Un’Offerta è ciò che hai – ad esempio musica, artisti o servizi.
Un Bisogno è ciò che stai cercando – ad esempio brani, artisti o partner commerciali.

Why can’t I upload my pictures?

Each category has a different purpose:

• Songs → compositions for artists and projects
• Licensing → music for film, TV and commercials
• Artists → for live performances and record deals
• Vocalists → for live and studio work

Why can’t I upload my songs?

Use a Post or Event to share updates, news or general information.
Events can be online (with a URL) or offline (with a location).
You can also use Posts to highlight your Offers or Needs and increase their visibility.
Alternatively, you can post in Groups and include your Offers or Needs to exchange ideas and connect with members who share similar interests.
Use Offers and Needs for concrete business opportunities.

How do I create a "Need"?

You can create Offers and Needs in two ways:

• Use the blue "+ Create" button on the left side of your Feed
• Or use the input field at the top of your Feed ("My Network")

What do I have to do if I want to offer the same song as a license, a song, and for an artist?

As our section have different purposes you need to create an "Offer" in each category and you have to upload the song to each section separately. Moreover you need to add different information in each section.

How can I activate my Offers again?

You can activate your Offers by clicking on "Activate" on the Offer. Offers are moved offline when a person’s membership decreases to a Basic Membership. Please note that you need to be Premium member to have more than 1 Offer active on your profile.

How do I edit/delete an "Offer" or a "Need"?

Your profile alone is not enough to be found for specific music opportunities.
To appear as an artist, vocalist or songwriter on the platform, you need to create an Offer in the corresponding category. For example:

• Artist → create an Artist Offer
• Vocalist → create a Vocalist Offer
• Songwriter → create a Song Offer
• Licensing → create a Licensing Offer

How can I share my Music Offers and my Needs?

An "Always Needed" describes your ongoing main requirement and is set in your profile (Edit Profile).
It is visible as a permanent request to other members.
For specific or time-limited requests, you should create a regular Need under "Your Offers & Needs".

What is Profile Success Score?

Imagine, if you go to a business event and stay in a corner, what will be happen? Nothing. Same hold for Music2Deal. So it is important to have a good profile including a profile picture. Moreover you need Offers and Needs to get attraction and they will lead to visitors for your profile which might bring in other business possibilities. Last not least, you need business friends which matches to your business. As it is important to stay in contact with them all your business friends on Music2Deal will be informed about new Music Offers and Needs. But also check out with whom you are business friends with. For example If you are a singer without writing songs it makes no sense to be connected to a publisher. So such a business friend will not match to your business and the success rate will not increase.

What is the algorithm behind "Profile Success"?

a) Profilo (max 30%):
Una foto ti darà 10 crediti. 5 crediti per la tua città. Due crediti per ogni informazione inserita nel profilo e 1 credito per ogni “Sempre necessario”. Ogni altra voce del profilo ottiene 1 credito.

b) Offerte e richieste (max 30%)
Lofferta/richiesta consigliata per il tuo profilo ti darà 10 crediti.
Ogni offerta aggiuntiva ti darà 3 crediti e ogni richiesta aggiuntiva ti darà 2 crediti.

c) Numero di amici abbinati (max 40%)
Ogni amico aziendale abbinato al tuo profilo = 0,5 punti

Inoltre, il successo del profilo sarà influenzato anche dalle tue visite a Music2Deal.

What is a recommended Offer or Need?

Depending on your business type, Music2Deal suggests Offers and Needs that match your profile. For example, if you are a Vocalist, we recommend you to post a Vocalist Offer.

How does the Matching Tool work?

Our technology analyzes each Offer and Need created by our members, and the details that are specified, and then automatically displays any relevant Needs and Offers. If you do not currently have any Offers or Needs online, you will still be shown any relevant Business Matches according to your profile information.

Where can I see my matches?

Here you can see your latest matches to your Business (Profile), Offers and Needs. All existing matches can be seen by clicking on your Offer or Need. All Matches for your Business (Profile) could be seen here.

Too many or too few matches?

If there are no matches shown to your business (profile), Offers or Needs, your information may be too specific. Try it with fewer requirements. Conversely, if there are too many matches shown, you may wish to be a bit more specific, so you can see more relevant results in what you’re looking for or offering.

Example of a Match

If an artist in the U.S. posts a Need that he is looking for a manager in the UK, all relevant managers will be displayed on his Need page and all relevant managers will also see his Need in their profile matches. If a publisher posts a Need that he is looking for an up-tempo hip-hop song in English, all relevant songs will be shown on the page of this Need and all members who are offering such a song will see this match at their corresponding Song Offers.

Where do I find details about the Membership plans?

Just click on Il Mio Account. If you are not yet a member of Music2Deal, click on Prezzi. There you’ll find details about each of the different Membership plans including pricing.

Which membership do I have when I sign up for Music2Deal?

When you sign up for Music2Deal you automatically receive a Premium Membership for one month for free. One way to continue this membership is simply by signing up 2 new business friends each month, otherwise the Premium Membership ends after one month and becomes a free Basic Membership. Or, you can upgrade your membership and buy easily Credits.

How do I upgrade or downgrade my membership?

Just go to Il Mio Account and select the type of Premium Membership you want.

Is there a term?

Non esiste un termine per i piani di abbonamento Basic e Premium. Il piano di abbonamento Premium termina automaticamente dopo un mese se non ci sono crediti sufficienti sul tuo account o se il pagamento non è stato effettuato. In tal caso, diventa un piano di abbonamento Basic.

Which methods are there for paying for my Membership?

For all Premium Membership plans, you can choose one of two methods; either manual payment or subscription. The choice of payment method doesn’t affect the price or the functionality of Music2Deal. Membership payments are paid in advance.

Where do I find the payments I’ve made to Music2Deal?

You can view any payments you have made to Music2Deal here.

What happens if a debit payment fails?

Se un pagamento con addebito per il tuo abbonamento non va a buon fine oppure non hai abbastanza "Crediti" per pagare l’Abbonamento Premium, le tue offerte musicali (tranne una) verranno disattivate e riceverai una notifica. Non appena avrai ottenuto abbastanza Crediti o effettuato correttamente il pagamento, potrai riattivare facilmente le tue Offerte.

Cosa sono i crediti?

I crediti sono la valuta interna che utilizziamo su Music2Deal. 100 crediti = 1,00 CAD. Hai bisogno di crediti per aggiornare il tuo account da Base a qualsiasi account Premium.

Come posso guadagnare crediti?

You can purchase them or get Credits free by inviting friends in the music industry to Music2Deal. Invited friends have to be accepted by the Music2Deal team – as is the procedure for every registration within our network. You receive 250 Credits for each friend accepted. You can also gain 20 Credits each time you vote (not anonymously) on another member’s music offers and when your music offers are voted by other members you receive 4 Credits for every star. Why should I invite my friends to Music2Deal?

Why haven’t the friends I invited been taken into account?

In order to take your friends into account, Music2Deal has to accept their registration first. This process can take several hours or days.

What happens if I invited more friends than I needed to?

Fortunatamente, i tuoi Crediti rimangono sul tuo account fino a quando non li utilizzi. Se hai invitato più amici del necessario, verranno conteggiati per il/i mese/i successivo/i.

How often will the charts be updated?

Every Wednesday at 12:00 (UTC) our charts are updated automatically. 

On what are the charts based?

The charts are generated by the votes of the offers. There needs to be a minimum of {0,number,integer} votes on a particular music Offer. Results are based on the average number of votes over the last months.
