Carol Hends is a Brazilian singer from Santa Catarina, a vocal coach, and an entrepreneur. 🎤 Musical Journey Carol Hends was born on May 9, 1994, in Guarujá do Sul, Santa Catarina, Brazil. She began showing an interest in music at a very young age, and by the age of six, she was already performing at schools, festivals, and local events. At the beginning of her career, she performed under the stage name Kelyn Carolyne. At the age of seven, she recorded her first CD, Asas Para Voar. At eight, she joined the cast of the Raul Gil Program, and at nine, she appeared on Sabadaço, hosted by Gilberto Barros, where she won a competition for Brazil's Best Child Voice. As part of the prize, she recorded the CD Mascando Chiclete. She later released the album Impaciência, and in 2013, she officially adopted the stage name Carol Hends, beginning a new chapter in her musical career. 📺 The Voice Brasil In 2016, Carol participated in the fifth season of The Voice Brasil, broadcast by Globo. During the blind auditions, she performed Poeira da Lua. She forgot part of the lyrics during her performance and was not selected for any of the teams, but her audition received significant attention. Gshow ranked her performance among the five most-clicked videos of that week's auditions. In other words, Carol Hends already had a professional career before appearing on The Voice Brasil — she did not enter the show as an emerging or inexperienced singer. 🎶 As an Artist Throughout her career, Carol has explored different musical styles, including MPB, pop, and Brazilian country music (sertanejo), and has released both original songs and covers. Her work on Palco MP3 includes songs such as Paixão, Uma Noite e Nada Mais, Livre, Leve, Solta, and Eitah, Que Coisa Louca!.
