個人簡介

Ashten Freeman (formerly Majors) born in San Antonio, TX and raised in Houston, TX. She began singing and performing live at the tender age of eight and soon realized her calling. She then began writing at the age of 13 and developed a love for penning her feelings and emotions. She broke out on the scene at The Juneteenth Festival at the young age of 16 and continued to work on her craft. She took a break from the music scene to be a mother. After her musical hiatus she decided to come back to the music scene stronger than ever with a better sense of self! Her goal is to be able to work alongside some of her favorite artists in the entertainment industry and to build a career doing what she loves most...singing and writing. Ashten's latest project, Sweet Nothings EP was released on Valentine's Day 2016. This project was put together to give fans a taste of what's to come as she works on her next album. Sweet Nothings features singles "Missing" (produced by Dwayne "Whateva" Lindsey) "U on U" parts I & II featuring Brian Angel (Day 26) (produced by Fred Council) and "Revolver" (produced by Strych9). Ashten is also a budding actress. The sultry diva starred in the indie comedy film, iCrush, as Christina & also managed to land her first lead role as Barbara in the live stage play "Conflict & Confessions". She is now gearing up for two new lead roles! One as Elaine in upcoming inspirational film "Never Failing" with BGood Productions and Jayli in Houston's own African American soap opera, My Stories, in January 2017. Ashten is also heading an R&B radio show co-starring Mr.380 of IIMGang, Pillow Talk on GMT Radio. The radio show debuted January 2015. Ashten wanted to provide opportunities to other R&B artists like herself to be able to showcase their music and be heard. She has interviewed with artists such as Carl Thomas, Kid Sid, TMI, Simone Skye, Tim Ned, K.Parker, Surreal, Boss Lady Jaye, IamJarell, Mike Reeves, Greathouse and many more!
