Born P. W. Aitcheson in the early 50's in Washington, DC, Phil's artist designation is Flip Damon of the Damon & Matthews songwriting and production team. He is the former drummer from their seventies band, "Horn, Wood, & Silver", and is currently a co-owner of Crestmoor Studios in Maryland, where all of the Damon & Matthews material is produced. His company, DamonSongs Media Group is based in Virginia. He lives in Virginia with his wife and pets, and maintains an office there as well.
