Личный профиль

Tony Craton is a musician, songwriter, and vocalist on a mission to enhance the musical listening experience visiting those special musical places and spaces of the mind. Touching lives and lifting spirits in multi-textural blends of musical expression. Currently, his focus surrounds the Jazz category and genre including the Contemporary, Smooth, Standard and Fusion styles. However, his Pop/R&B and Funk roots allow him to capture these elements in his offerings as well.  Being the author and composer of many songs, Tony has determined it is necessary for his music to have substance and “feeling”! Being the son of the late Lee Rogers (an artist of the Motown Era who recorded on the D-Town & Platinum Sound labels), Tony began his musical aspirations as an adolescent. As a teenager in high school, he took formal piano lessons. It was during this time, he had an opportunity to train under the instruction of Bess Bonnier, a renowned local professional jazz pianist.  For Tony, this was an awesome opportunity as jazz was his “true” love. After high school, he started college, a job, and formed a band called Touch. His intentions were to “touch” the world with an innovative new sound. Since then he has earned Associate, Bachelor, and Master degrees in the computer information systems and programming disciplines.
