Tolga Özbey 05.06.1977 Istanbul-Moscow Based Rock Guitarist, Composer, Songwriter & Producer Versatile and experienced Turkish rock guitarist and composer with over 35 years in the underground and alternative music scene. Founder and key member of influential 90's punk rock band Rashit; current solo artist releasing dark, introspective alternative rock; longtime guitarist for female-fronted garage/punk outfit Reptilians From Andromeda. Skilled in electric/acoustic guitar, bass, backing vocals, recording, producing, mixing, mastering, and songwriting across Rock, hard rock, punk, garage rock, alternative, and poetic rock styles. Actively creating producing and performing between Istanbul and Moscow. Tolga Özbey has shared stages with countless artists and bands at festivals and concerts, including Marilyn Manson, The Cure, Korn, Offspring, Pet Shop Boys, Dead Kennedys, The Cardigans, Simple Minds, Suede, Echo and The Bunnymen, Massive Attack, Pulp, David Byrne, Hanin Elias, Juliette Lewis and The Licks, Glen Matlock (Sex Pistols), Gallon Drunk, and many others. He is a founding member of Turkey's prominent music organizations MÜYORBIR (Turkish Musicians' Union) and MSG (Musicians, Singers and Songwriters Association). He owns the rights to more than 100 original compositions and song lyrics registered under his own name.
