Profil personnel

After working as a recording coordinator at Master Rock Studios in London, I have written numerous English lyric translations and original English lyrics for many Japanese artists. In recent years I have also been increasingly active as a Japanese lyricist, writing for musicals and anime character songs.As a vocalist, I received classical training in my teens. This foundation allows me to cover a wide range of styles — from classical singing to healing music, rock, and musical theatre — and I have extensive experience providing chorus work, commercials, film vocals, and more. After receiving acting training from a young age, I have appeared in numerous stage productions in Tokyo, working with directors such as Masahiko Kawahara, Keishi Nagatsuka, Kankurō Kudō, Kerarino Sandorovich, and Shūtarō Oku. I have also provided voice work for radio and drama CDs, including the BBC’s Murder in Tokyo, Laboratory Party’s The Chronicles of Narnia, Hamlet, and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. In addition, I have contributed spoken-word poetry readings on tracks by Hyde, Abingdon Boys School, T.M.Revolution, Soft Ballet, and Screw. I also work extensively as an English pronunciation coach and supervisor across various fields.
