IN PARADISE – another track from the EP (mini-album) Faceless Miracle by the band METSA, which I co-create together with three friends. It is a slightly romantic and very melodic song, especially appealing to female listeners. The foundation of the track consists of heavy guitars and a suitably chosen English vocal performance, supported by drums and keyboards created in Ableton Live. A distinctive feature of our band is the absence of a live drum kit on stage — this is a conscious artistic decision rather than a lack of a drummer. We wanted to step outside the boundaries of standard metal line-ups in order not to become just another forgotten band drowning among thousands of similar acts. Perhaps one day we will succeed. Currently, METSA is working on its first full-length LP album, which moves even further toward blending metal with film music and strong electronic elements. Our songs carry a somewhat global yet distinctly ethnic atmosphere — which is why we jokingly say that we have created a new genre: TRAVEL METAL. The MP3 version of “In Paradise” sounds slightly better in terms of audio quality than the version available on YouTube. This is due to a subtly improved mix and mastering. We handle everything ourselves — continuously learning, refining our skills, and correcting mistakes while striving to deliver the best possible listening experience.
