Music producer, composer, and sound engineer with over 25 years of experience, and more than one thousand tracks released. Currently working as the director of music at Duna Sounds and AlavancaLab. Since the 2000s, I have helped several independent artists from southern Brazil to achieve emergent, mid, or mainstream status. How? By accelerating their quest to find and refine their musical authenticity, and creating strategic connections that could help them pave the road to their dreams. A few examples: Chimarruts, Dingo (former Dingo Bells), Apanhador Só, Da Guedes, Pública, etc. I also served as a mentor and producer for projects in Brazil, the U.S., and Latin America. I’m often invited to speak at lectures and workshops promoted by universities and festivals in Brazil and abroad, including Emory University, William & Mary, SIM São Paulo, and Fest Contrapedal (UY). I am also a member of AES International and the Latin Recording Academy.

We specialize in CUSTOM compositions, but also offer a curated music CATALOG ready for one-stop SYNC. Our team combines creative versatility and narrative instinct, seamlessly transitioning between singer-songwriter intimacy, orchestral emotion, indie textures, Brazilian roots, and cutting-edge sound design. In 2020, Duna’s creative team received the Brazilian Pro Music Awards for Best Original Score (for A Meta, Fish TV) and Best Music Production for TV, and has since been nominated annually in multiple categories. Duna also operates as a sync broker and publisher for a select roster of independent artists and composers, ensuring both creative support and rights management across international deals. +++++ AlavancaLab is a non-profit organization. We are focused on helping talented new artists from southern Brazil to expand their abilities, broaden their visions, deepen their knowledge, and accelerate their artistic careers as creatives and performers. Since 2024, we have opened a new project every year. Artists can apply for full sponsorship to the program.
