Basscontroll / Rave Qontroll Based in the Netherlands, Basscontroll is a DJ, producer and label owner whose connection to electronic music began in the 1990s hardcore rave scene. He moved into music production around 2010, developing a broad catalogue that ranges from hard and dark techno to trance and more melodic or harder electronic sounds. His sets and tracks are driven by weighty basslines, hypnotic grooves and a strong sense of underground energy. Scientific Sound, Amsterdam Dance Event, Beatport As the curator and creatie brains behind Bass Controllism Records, Basscontroll also helps create space for international artists and open-minded electronic music.
