1/ Listen to the sound of the cash register, ringing up money for the Man behind the bar, The music dosnt matter it dont mean a thing, all he wants to hear is that register ring, Chorus, Have you seen the gleam in his eyes, it dont take long to realize, maybe he;s gone too far, The man behind the bar!! 2/ He lost his wife and his family, I guess thats the way he wants it to be, he worked her so hard every night on the till, and when they went out' she got the bill" 3/ Chorus to solo 4/ He's saving up his money so he can be free, to do what he wants and retire at 30, Hes' got a million in the bank, its all going fine, but he blew it again and dropped dead at 39!! 5/Chorus to fade.

To know that within life there is life To feel that flutter or stir To know that the seed is a being it is a him or a her To see the wondrous growing as weeks into months slip by To picture the flower you've been sowing the approaching hour is nigh To feel the first pain to your body whether its day or at night To know the time for this miracle is now within your sight To feel the baby emerge now to get its first glimpse of the dawn To hear the first gulp at the ether as though to give out a yawn To hear the first sounds like music it is the babies yell To the Mother who's heart is bursting it tells her all is well To have eyes that are filled with tears this wonder to behold To feel its warm and pink like flesh no words have yet been told To realize this gift we've been given with fullness and no lack To have it To love it To hold it fast To embrace it To release it To Give It Back

This piece was originally composed as a Poem, by my Mother in mid 1970's, I composed the music and played it on acoustic guitar with my daughter ( so the Grand daughter ) speaking the words. so 3 generations in the making !!

The gift of life is to precious to waste, we all know this statement is true, But when we are filled with frustration and fear we forget the things we should do, The answer is really quite simple, let go and let God and be strong, But if there are times when you weaken, then think of the words of this song When your feeling low and weary, and peace is so hard to find, Remember that faith can move mountains, Its all in the state of the mind, If your days are filled with longing, for love that is true and kind, Examine your pattern of thinking, Its all in the state of the mind Just ask and know that its granted, is what we are taught to believe, The secret is the more you give out, the more you will receive, So reach out and grasp this abundance, and leave all your worries behind, Be as The Father intended, Its all in the state of the mind.

This track was written by my Father back in 1971 when he was connected to an organization called Science of Mind, its played on guitar and sung by his son, with his grand daughter doing backing vocals!! So 3 generations in the making!!
