STILL WATERS run deep, people say. This is also true for the band bearing that name. Although laid out as an acoustic project, the repertoire of the band consists of powerful rock songs, catchy Latin grooves and melancholic ballads. The self-composed songs are carried by the acoustic guitar, the percussion-set based on snare-drum and cajón and the bass generate a pulsating rhythm similar to the heartbeat. As solo instrument the violin captivates the audience and the perfectly harmonizing voices of the two singers complete a truly authentic and unique sound experience. SingerSongwriter/world music at its best! It becomes apparent that being calm on the outside and a passionate temperament on the inside do not exclude each other. On the contrary – STILL WATERS.
